Different kinds of Quiet: The Quiet Book by Deborah Underwood

The Quiet Book is a beautiful, gentle story about the different kinds of quiet a young child can experience during the day. There is ‘pretending you’re invisible quiet’, ‘making a wish quiet’ and ‘thinking of a good reason you were drawing on the wall quiet’ and many others.  The illustrations by Renata Liwska are soft, very expressive and have a lovely touch of humour about them, although that will be more for the parents than the child being read to.  It is a small hardback and is $17.95.  Lovely.
