Greek Myths

This beautiful book unravels the magical world of Greek mythology. Filled with Gods and Titans, battles and glory, these ancient stories have been told and retold but this latest version by Ann Turnbull, with gorgeous illustrations by Sarah Young, is up there with the best. With a mixture of tales, from nature myths to hero tales and stories of battles between gods and mortals, this collection includes some familiar names and some that are less so. There is King Midas and the Golden Touch, and Pandora and her box (though as we learn, the box was actually a jar), but also the stories of Arethusa and Ariadne on Naxos.

Interesting and beautifully illustrated, Greek Myths (HB $37.95) is a perfect gift, or just a gorgeous book to have on your shelf. If aren’t already intrigued by the wonderful world Greek mythology, you soon will be!
